VISION QUESTA "HOLD MY HEART"
Recorded in NYC by a collective of Japanese artists, Vision Questa’s “Hold My Heart” brings their live feel to wax. Summer-y Spanish guitars, jazzed-out piano keys, and simple Latin percussion underlay a beautiful track while Eiko Obara provides a sweet, melancholy vocal on top. Frankie Feliciano is on the remix duty via his Six6 moniker, transforming the track giving more of a dancefloor-friendly vibe. Also included is his instrumental, beats, and Keyapella. Nice for warming up in any DJ’s set.
STUDIO APARTMENT FEAT. TERRANCE DOWNS "WE ARE LONELY"
The Studio Apartment team hooks up with superb Ananda Project vocalist, Terrance Downs, on their stunning new song, “We Are Lonely”. Already being championed by Louie Vega, these deep & silky lyrics over Latin beats and beautiful piano riffs turn this super soulful track into a nice early night beginner.
Remixer-supreme Quentin Harris works his genius musical magic on the A-side Vocal Mix with organic tribal beats and elegant organ swells. Quentin also gets very, old school, Junior Vasquez with his Fresh Fruit Dub, aptly named after his successful monthly Sunday residence at Cielo with partner and NYC mainstay Steve Travolta. With its spoken words and tougher dimension, it’s definitely for the crowd who’s partial to their afterhours!

ANTHONY NICHOLSON "ANTHEM NOIR" b/w "VIBRATION"
Anthony Nicholson returns to Nite Grooves with two outstanding new tracks! First up is "Anthem Noir". Call it "Cosmic House", if you will. But whatever it's called, it certainly serves strong string build-ups over plucky synth stabs and grooving beats. Should mix with Knights Of The Jaguar just perfectly. On the logo side sits "Vibration". Mellow broken beats from the drum machine bump underneath while more cosmic trippyness swirl around on top. Very much a dubby excursion for those end of the night sets.
