MFSB who celebrates his 30th year… in da mix this year is back on action
with the follow up to his series of mixtapes, blending classics and hard to find
tunes from those days remembered as the burgeoing period that would give birth
to the international dance music culture. So What you're gonna get on this
section is a weekly series of numerized mixtapes that he's done throughout the
years, should it be early house, R&B, disco, downtempo, soul funk and the likes.
Welcome on board…
Say kids, what time is it ? It's time for house… Mainly hailing from its Chicago
hometown, we should say, by the likes of Sterling Void with his
magnificient "It's Alright" to be covered soon after by UK band The Style
Council, Kym Mazelle, Farley JackMaster Funk, Paris and
CeCe Rogers (see our forthcoming Summer Edit) with his
unmissable "Someday" produced by Marshall Jefferson. All of them joined
by Touch, Lachandra and Vicky Martin to complete the whole
list on this mixtape # 14. House isn't necessarily only where you live.
