Ron Trent – Love To The World (Future Vision Records)

Classics: Ron Trent – Love To The World (Future Vision Records)

‘Love To The World…’ What a delicate attention, don’t you think? With the content of this definitive masterpiece pretty much reflecting what its title is about.

Ron Trent first came to recognition while he was still in high school. This when releasing ‘Alter States’ (considered as a seminal Techno cut nowadays) on the late Armando‘s Warehouse Records back in 1990.
Born of Afro/Indian American descent, he would soon dig into his ancestral influences to resurrect them on his impressive repertoire. Comin’ up with an instantly recognizable signature which we could describe as deep and syncopated atmospherism over a complex rhythmic construction. Be it behind the decks when he spins as productionwise.

Meeting him for the very first time during the 1997 Winter Music Conference on the heels of the upcoming release of USG‘s ‘Ncameu’, I instantly got caught up by his magnetism. The way I happened to be by others of his alter egos such as Glenn Underground, Kerri Chandler or <strong>Joe Claussell. Although for slightly different reasons.

Released back in 2006, ‘Love To The World’ stands as one of his absolute masterpieces and one of our all time favorites. Comin’ up as a deep dive into vibrant harmonies. All in all, in like a kaleidoscope of vibes sounding like a beautiful dance under the form of a face to face where melancholy and upliftingness would compete for the leading role.

‘Love To The World…’ As to you, brother, with eternal Respect!

What’s the value of your vinyl record?
